Itinerary

Comprehensive route, sightseeing, and daily travel schedule.

DAY 01

HARIDWAR TO GUPTKASHI

Meal - Dinner Only

Upon arrival, our driver will meet you and begin your journey to Kedarnath Dham (Drive - 210KM). After a few hours of driving, we will stop for breakfast before continuing towards Guptkashi. En route, we will visit Devprayag Sangam - the confluence where the holy Ganga River originates - and also stop at the Dhari Devi Temple. We will halt for lunch during the journey. By evening, we will reach our hotel in Guptkashi and enjoy tea and snacks. During dinner, our representative will brief you about the next day's schedule.

DAY 02

GUPTKASHI TO KEDARNATH

Meal - Breakfast and Dinner

After an early morning checkout, we will travel to Sonprayag (approx. 30 km). From Sonprayag, we will take a local shuttle service to Gaurikund. Our trek to Kedarnath (18 km) will begin from Gaurikund. We expect to reach Kedarnath Dham by evening. Upon arrival, we will check into the hotel, have dinner, and rest for the night.

DAY 03

KEDARNATH TO GUPTKASHI

Meal - Breakfast and Dinner

We will wake up early in the morning, pack our luggage, and get ready for the morning darshan. After darshan, we will have breakfast and begin our trek down to Gaurikund (18 km, one way). From Gaurikund, we will take a local shuttle service to Sonprayag, covering a distance of 5 km. Our vehicle will pick us up from Sonprayag, and we will drive back to Guptkashi. Upon arrival in Guptkashi, we will visit the Guptkashi Temple and then return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

DAY 04

GUPTKASHI TO GAUNDAR

Meal - Breakfast and Dinner

After tea and breakfast, we will check out and depart for Ransi Village (45 km) by local taxi (Mahindra Bolero/Tata Sumo). En route, we will stop at the Omkareshwar Temple near Ukhimath for a short visit, then proceed to Ransi by taxi. Once we reach Ransi, we will take our backpack and water bottle and we will begin our trekking from Ransi to Gaundar Village (trek distance-7Km). During this trekking, we will also enjoy our packed lunch. After 3-4 hours of trekking, we will reach Gaundar Village for evening tea and night stay. Night stay will be arranged in local homestay.

DAY 05

GAUNDAR TO MADHAYAMAHESHWAR

Meal - Breakfast and Dinner

After an early breakfast, we begin our 10 KM trek to Madhyamaheshwar Temple. The trail passes through scenic forests, streams, and small villages. We'll take short breaks along the way with light refreshments or packed lunch. By evening, we reach the sacred Madhyamaheshwar temple for darshan. Dinner and overnight stay at a guesthouse/lodge near the temple.

DAY 06

MADHYAMAHESHWAR TO CHOPTA

Meal - Breakfast and Dinner

After breakfast, we begin the 17 KM downhill trek back to Ransi village. On reaching Ransi, our vehicle will be ready to drive us to Chopta. En route, enjoy scenic mountain views and lush greenery. Reach Chopta by evening, check in at the campsite/hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Chopta.

DAY 07

CHOPTA TO TUNGNATH TREK

Meal - Breakfast and Dinner

After breakfast, begin the 4 KM trek from Chopta to Tungnath Temple. Those interested can continue the optional 1.5 KM trek to Chandrashilla for panoramic Himalayan views. Return to campsite at Chopta by afternoon. Relax, enjoy the surroundings, dinner, and overnight stay in Chopta.

DAY 08

CHOPTA TO SAGAR VILLAGE

Meal - Breakfast and Dinner

Early breakfast at Chopta. Scenic drive from Chopta to Sagar Village (~45 min – 1 hour). Begin trek from Sagar Village to Panar Bugyal (10-11 km, moderate difficulty). Enjoy panoramic views of Himalayan peaks and alpine meadows. Reach Panar Bugyal by late afternoon; set up camp or stay in guesthouse. Relax with dinner and stargazing amid serene mountain surroundings. Overnight stay at Panar Bugyal.

DAY 09

PANAR TO RUDRANATH TREK

Meal - Breakfast and Dinner

Early breakfast at Panar Bugyal camp. Start trek from Panar Bugyal to Rudranath Temple (approx. 8-9 km, moderate to challenging). Pass through dense forests, rocky trails, and scenic viewpoints. Arrive at Rudranath, a revered temple nestled amid the Himalayas. Explore the temple surroundings and soak in panoramic mountain views. Evening at leisure with dinner. Overnight stay near Rudranath temple in mudhouse or camp.

DAY 10

RUDRANATH TO SAGAR VILL

Meal - Breakfast and Dinner

Early breakfast near Rudranath. Begin the descent Trek from Rudranath back to Sagar village (approx. 10-11KM). Trek downhill to Sagar Village through forests and streams, where traveller can enjoy peaceful nature and possible sighting of Himalayan Birds and wildlife. Reach Sagar Village by afternoon. Rest and experience local village life. End of Trek segment; prepare for onward travel or the next destination.

DAY 11

SAGAR VILL TO URGAM VALLEY

Meal - Breakfast and Dinner

After breakfast, drive approximately 70 km from Sagar Village to Urgam Valley, The location of Kalpeshwar Temple - one of the Panch Kedar and the last temple of your Panch Kedar itinerary. Spend time visiting the sacred Kalpeshwar Temple, nestled in the serene Urgam Valley. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and take in the natural beauty of the region. Overnight stay and dinner at a local homestay in Urgam Valley, experiencing authentic local hospitality.

DAY 12

URGAM VALLEY TO HARIDWAR

Meal - Breakfast Only

After breakfast, begin the drive of approximately 285KM from Urgam Valley to Haridwar. As you journey back through the beautiful landscapes, take a moment to reflect on the spiritual experiences, the serene moments, and the deep connections made along the way. Share heartfelt stories and laughter with your fellow travelers, cherishing the bonds formed during this sacred Yatra. Though it's time to return home, carry the peace, blessings, and memories of this pilgrimage in your heart forever. Arrive in Haridwar by evening, concluding your memorable Panch Kedar journey-until the next time your soul calls you back.

  • Emergency Rescue: Helicopter or rescue operations due to landslides, illness, or natural calamities.

  • Unforeseen Costs : Any cost arising due to natural calamities, roadblocks, strikes, government orders, or any changes beyond the control of the organizer.

Important Pilgrim & Trek Guidelines

  • Biometric Yatra Registration is mandatory for all pilgrims visiting Uttarakhand Char Dham shrines.
  • Carry original government-issued photo IDs (Aadhaar / Voter ID / Passport) and multiple physical photocopies.
  • Heavy woolens, thermals, waterproof ponchos, and comfortable trekking shoes with good grip are required.
